The No Surprises Act has made re-attesting provider information with ALL payors every 90 days mandatory. Failing to meet this requirement means you risk losing your payor contract (without warning).
Rather than manually check the information each payor has on file, the CAQH ProView for Groups feature makes this cumbersome process easier and less time-consuming. It also significantly reduces your risk of a payor terminating your contract.
What Is CAQH ProView for Groups?
Launched in January 2022, ProView for Groups gives you the ability to quickly manage the information your contracted health plans need for their directories. Rather than entering every piece of information for all your providers and every payor, CAQH ProView for Groups allows you to fill out the information just once and then duplicate it for every listing. This helps you stay compliant with the No Surprises Act without making the process too complicated.
This is a new feature of the CAQH ProView portal, so it’s free to use. You can register for your own CAQH ProView account (or check that you’ve got the Groups feature) here.
Benefits of Using CAQH ProView for Groups
The addition of CAQH ProView for Groups has made the enrollment and re-attestation process quicker and less stressful for you, decreasing the amount of time you spend checking and re-checking information with payors.
There are many other benefits to using this new feature for the enrollment process, including:
- Bulk-adding data into your roster or the portal decreases typing errors
- Status details for all providers, locations, and plans associated with your group are shown right in the portal
- Automated data validation eliminates the worry that you entered something wrong
- Enhanced security features protect the information you upload
- Get a jump-start on enrolling with a new payor before they initiate the process
- All-electronic submissions eliminate the need for cumbersome paper submissions
- Automated workflows notify health plans when new data is available without change reports
