Carl brings a unique perspective to the medical revenue cycle field. Carl started his career as an engineer for Boeing designing next generation helicopters (after obtaining a degree in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University). Carl has been applying the lean manufacturing principles from the manufacturing industry to the world of medicine for 15 years. Over that time he has assisted thousands of providers in groups ranging from large hospitals to single provider practices improve their operations and increase their collections. In addition to his BSE from Princeton, Carl obtained an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where he was name a Palmer Scholar – Wharton’s highest academic honor.
Carl is the President and CEO of ClaimCare Medical Billing Services. ClaimCare provides revenue cycle management services for practices across the United States and across a wide range of specialties. The engineer driven design principles behind ClaimCare’s medical billing process allow the organization to consistently provide increased collections, lower days in AR and enhanced compliance for its clients.
