Christy Davies has been a generational entrepreneur. Growing up on a family dairy farm in Michigan, Christy quickly learned about dedication, devotion to trade and business. She always enjoyed taking care of animals and had a natural talent when it came to caring for animals that were ill and originally had a desire to become a vet.
Christy traveled across the country with the family’s award winning show cattle and landed a dream job at the age of 19 in Oakville, Ontario at a livestock exporting company and remained there for several years. During this time, she met a nurse and became (intrigued/curious) with the nursing profession. Christy attended nursing school at George Brown University in Toronto, Ontario, and fell in love with medicine.
During this time the call to come home became evident with her father’s cancer diagnosis and she alongside her sister took over the full management of the dairy farm. Christy did not give up on her love for nursing and worked in physician clinics until the family made a decision to move to Idaho in 1996. Here Christy was able to excel in her roles of managing and growing a pain management clinic as well as accomplish her Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Finance and Masters In Healthcare Administration.
Although Christy loved medicine she flourished in business development and entrepreneurial endeavors. In 2011, she chose to devote time to assisting independent physicians in business management. She has sat/sits on multiple boards both state and national and speaks nationwide on the subjects of Business Development, Managing Cash Flow, The Business of Regenerative Medicine and Cash Practices. She works daily with providers in helping them build a practice that is both fulfilling and profitable and excels on bringing in a business model that assists them in creating a healthy balance between cash and insurance based reimbursements.
In 2013, she along with 3 business partners launched Apex Biologix, A Premier Resource in Regenerative Medicine, which now serves physician clinics all over North America and several countries in Europe & South America and is continuing to grow. It has been thru the developments in regenerative medicine where Christy identified an opportunity to work with clinicians on a new level as a business development coach and launched Physicians Success Rx. She and her team work daily with their clients to assist them on creating a strong, sustainable business plan, marketing protocols and scale their practices to new levels.
If you spend any time with Christy at all it won’t be long before you hear about her life in Idaho with her husband of 20 years and her beautiful daughter Rose. Christy has passed on the generational entrepreneurial spirit and her daughter is very involved with agriculture and raises, shows and sells her market lambs all over the country.
