Lewanda Tehee, CCS, CPC, CPC-I, CEMC, CPMA, is the Outpatient Coding Supervisor for a multi-specialty health system that employs 150+ providers. She codes and audits for Urgent Care in addition to other specialties, including ambulatory surgery, ED, orthopedics, podiatry, and ob/gyn. Lewanda’s passion for coding extends outside the practice where she teaches the CPC Medical Coding class as an AAPC Approved Instructor.
Lewanda thrives on challenges which is what drew her to become a coder more than 15 years ago. She is a member of AHIMA and AAPC and holds the following certifications: Certified Coding Specialist, Certified Professional Coder, Certified Professional Coder Instructor, Certified Evaluation and Management Coder, and Certified Professional Medical Auditor.
