Stephanie has 17 years of experience doing medical billing and coding in a variety of specialties.
For over 20 years, Stephen has focused his practice in the area of litigation, including commercial litigation, insurance defense, and defense in healthcare.
Stephen has 25 years of experience in public accounting. He’s the Director in Charge of Blue’s Cincinnati office and has been a frequent speaker on PPP since March of 2020.
Steve leads the business operations including contracting and reimbursement analysis. He is responsible for all of Healthcents Inc.’s business processes, contracts management, negotiations, and computing systems, which are used to enable Healthcents to get providers maximum reimbursements on payer contracts. He has successfully negotiated over 15,000 payer contracts and is the inventor of RevolutionSoftware, Healthcents’ state of the art web service product for payer contracts’ analysis.
Steve has spent the past 32 years in healthcare safety, security, and risk management. He has provided consultation services to hundreds of clients, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, homecare agencies, clinics, physician practices, and pre-hospital/EMS services, as well as trained thousands of workers in workplace safety and security. An experienced trial expert, Steve regularly consults for law firms and insurance companies on matters of safety, security, and risk management.

Her established professionalism with trusted and proven approaches helps practices establish conscious processes and experiences that encourage and promote self-awareness, creating high performance teams. Tammy Tipton is the co-author of Power of Appeals software system and author of the denial management manual, “Turning Insurance Denials Into Dollars.” Her company, Appeal Solutions, has assisted hospitals, physicians and billing companies with recovery of numerous unfairly denied claims.
