Recovery Audit Contractors (RAC) have been unleashed to uncover, confirm, and take back reimbursements Medicare made in error. Unless you’re ready, getting hit with a RAC audit can be devastating for your practice.

Even though you can’t always control whether your practice is the target of a RAC audit or not, there are specific actions you can take to significantly improve your outcome. Auditor areas of focus are the key. Don’t waste hundreds of hours preparing for an audit in vain. Instead, concentrate on the focus areas Auditors will be targeting.

Remember, once you’re on a RAC audit radar, it’s only a matter of time before Auditors come knocking on your door. Then, more often than not, they’ll find what they’re looking for, your money. It doesn’t have to be this way. You can get a handle on what RAC Auditors will focus on to significantly reduce your risk and cut down the amount of recoupment you can be required to pay.

Healthcare attorney, Jody Erdfarb, JD, can help you accomplish this. During her online training, Jody will help you be better prepared should you be targeted for a RAC audit. This training will help you reduce your risk and keep more of the Medicare reimbursement you’ve received.

Here are just a few of the actionable RAC audit preparedness tactics that you’ll receive by attending this 60-minute online training:

  • Stay away from RAC auditor sweet spots that will get your practice targeted for an audit
  • Stop wasting time beefing up protocols for services auditors don’t care about
  • Avoid RAC audit disallowances to reduce potential recoupment amounts
  • Keep your cash by successfully appealing RAC audit payment challenges
  • Master RAC audit rules and head off being blindsided by auditor results
  • Limit your financial and legal exposure without breaking the bank
  • Speed up the audit process by responding to requests the right way
  • Know your RAC audit appeal rights, know when to take things to the next level
  • Limit documentation requests: Pin down what auditors can really ask for
  • And so much more…

WARNING: You should know that RAC auditors are financially motivated to uncover every possible claim error and collect every associated dollar they can. This is because auditors get paid based on how much money they recoup. Auditors have helped Medicare recover more than $2 Billion in overpayments. With this amount of money on the table, you can bet they’re driven to find errors.

By attending this online training with healthcare attorney, Jody Erdfarb, JD, you’ll receive a step-by-step RAC audit roadmap to help you avoid fraud allegations, recoupment demands and massive financial payouts. You’ll gain the tactics you need to accurately respond to audit notifications to ensure the best audit outcome possible.

Don’t wait. Sign up for this online training today.
