Dr. Freedman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Syracuse University in 1982. He successfully completed his medical education from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 1986 and his Podiatric Surgical residency at the Kessler Memorial Hospital in 1987.
He is a Certified Professional Coder and is Vice-President of Foot and Ankle Specialists of the Mid-Atlantic, LLC, a single specialty private large group practice in the D.C. area. He is a past President of the Maryland State Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners, a past Vice-President of the Maryland State Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners, a coding committee member of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) since 2005, Team Manager ICD 10 for APMA since 2010, and a CAC Podiatry Representative for Maryland.
