Kathy has been a healthcare consultant and educator since the early 80’s. She is trained and certified as a nurse and risk manager, and is also certified in compliance, coding and healthcare business consulting.
She is one of the few experts available that focuses on helping providers get paid more for their Medicaid claims, Kathy is an executive board member of the National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants.
Kathy has authored several chapters in provider desk references, and is a contributing editor to several medical management magazines such as Medical Economics, AMA News, Family Practice. Her book, Medical Office Policies and Procedures was a best-selling new book with the American Medical Association.
