LaDonna has more than 15 years of experience with hospitals and physician practices. Prior to joining MRS LaDonna worked as a coding and compliance consultant with BKD, LLP. She has held the position of coding manager for a national billing company and lead project manager for consulting projects.
She has been involved in consulting engagements associated with hospital inpatient, outpatient and clinic services. She provides reviews of CPT, ICD-9-CM, medical record documentation, billing, and compliance issues. Her experience includes; surgery, orthopeadics, ENT, emergency medicine, laboratory, radiology, inpatient, outpatient, family practice, oncology, pain management, home health, hospice and other specialties. LaDonna is a certified coding specialist (CSS) accredited by AHIMA. She is a member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA.)
