Patient survey results were recently published by Software Advice that uncovered that your patients are using wait times found online as a determining factor when deciding to make an appointment with you.
The survey spoke to 5,003 patients and received minimum of 500 responses to each question. Although the survey asked a variety of questions, they highlighted wait times in a recent write up from the survey. Here a few key findings:
* 80% of patients would be less annoyed if they knew in how the wait would be.
* A personal apology from the doctor would minimize frustration for about 70% of patients.
* 41% of patients would be willing to see another provider in the practice to reduce their wait.
